User Interviews

This week, we hit a significant milestone: we started rolling the browser out to early testers through personalized Zoom and in-person onboarding. Additionally, I’m setting up presentations with student groups such as Blockchain@USC, SoCal’s biggest blockchain club. We will demo our product and onboard users at their next weekly meeting. And over the next couple of weeks, we will tweak how we onboard, test, and set up more regular touchpoints with users.

Design Iterations: Tabs

One of the insights we heard from users during onboarding was clarifying that tabs represent individual wallet instances. Users expected that a separate wallet module meant the wallet UX worked just like Metamask. Due to this, we could not clearly show how every tab can have its own wallet instance and network. We needed to balance visually demonstrating the interaction between wallets and tabs while maintaining a user-friendly experience.

So this week, I explored a maximalist tab interface that gives all the wallet and network information, making the tab feel like the wallet itself. We will be testing these designs in our user interviews as well:

Next Week

This coming week, I’ll continue conversations with new users, help onboard them, and gain valuable feedback around our experience. Additionally, I’ll be designing history and settings pages.

See you all next week!
