Changes
We are mid refactoring the core pieces of the browser and the wallet. We’re working towards a 10x improvement in efficiency and performance as most of what we’ve built to date has been primarily focused on bare minimum viability and proofs of concept.
The primary change is increased visibility of the wallet and wallet functionality (see / copy your wallet address under the search bar, see in-context action prompts in the same space when relevant - i.e. connect wallet, sign message).
Reflections
We are still working towards transaction signing functionality (primary focus right now) and as we’re refactoring what we’ve built so far, we’re focused on greatly improving the data structures / hierarchy across the app. While this won’t be directly visible on the frontend, the result will be felt as Dub becomes much more stable and our team transitions into using Dub as our default / primary Web Browser and Crypto Wallet. Our goal is to hit this milestone by the end of January!
